Adult Driver's Education
The state of Texas requires adult drivers (ages 18 - 24 years old) to complete a Texas Adult Driver Education course in order to apply for the Texas Driver's License.

What You Need to Know:
A Texas Adult Driver Education course is a 6-hour course that is typically offered online.
The course consists of the following:

Overview of Texas road rules and regulations

Driver safety guidelines

Official DPS Knowledge Exam (also known as the "Written Exam")
This course is required for all Texas Adults (ages 18 - 24 years old) looking to apply for their Texas Driver's License.

Enroll in a Texas Adult Driver Education course
- Look up Adult Driver's Education courses: TDLR: Driver Education Search Tool -
Pass the Knowledge Assessment and obtain the completion certificate

Submit the completion certificate to DPS to apply for your Texas Learner's Permit

Enroll in driving lessons for additional practice OR schedule your Driving Exam with a driving school.
NOTE: There is no required driving component to an Adult Driver Education course.
However, once you obtain a Texas Learner's Permit, you are able to sign up for driving lessons in order to better
prepare for the official road test.

Adult Driving Packages
Driving Lesson Packages are available for adult drivers looking for one-on-one driving instruction.
We offer different package options for either Beginner / Inexperienced or Intermediate drivers.
Driving Packages allow students to purchase and schedule multiple Driving Lessons at a discounted rate. Driving Lessons can be scheduled out at your own pace based on our upcoming availability.
The Driving Packages listed below are also a great option for drivers who already have a Driver's License and are looking to obtain additional driving practice around the Austin area.
Pricing Plans are valid for one year. This means that customers have one year from the date of purchase to complete driving services included in their respective driving package.
Students MUST have their Texas Learner's Permit or a valid Driver License to sign up.

Best for Beginner drivers or those with no experience
3 Hours Driving Package
Three (3) one-hour Driving Lessons that serve to build up on basic maneuvering skills.
This package is generally recommended for students who have moderate driving experience and are looking to obtain additional practice on more "advanced" skills -- highway / freeway driving, road test skills, main roadways with heavier traffic, etc,.
If additional practice is needed or preferred, students have the option to upgrade to our 6 Hours Driving Package.
6 Hours Driving Package
Six (6) one-hour Driving Lessons that serve to establish basic maneuvering skills and safe driving habits.
This package is generally recommended for students who have little-to-no experience driving -- whether it's their first time
behind-the-wheel of a car, or they have only attempted driving a handful of times.
If additional practice is needed or preferred, students have the option of requesting additional lessons to be added to their package.
Need a Ride?
You can sign up for a Driving Exam Package to include pick-up/drop-off services if you do not have access to transportation for your driving sessions.
Pick-up/Drop-off service available for locations WITHIN a 10-mile radius of the driving school.

Locations beyond our 10-mile service range are subject to an additional fee.
